[2026] The Hellacopters - Thanks For Nothing (BLR)
Taking a break for a bit so I thought I'd end the year with my first compilation for 2026. This collects a pile of favourite B-Sides on Disc One and Two Peel Sessions and some tracks from a 2020 Swedish Radio Session. Official release of Cream Of The Crap 3 is finally gonna drop in February so I thought I'd get in with something first. Specially as this has been on the work pile for 3 years. [1968] Serge Gainsbourg & Brigitte Bardot - Bonnie & Clyde
Brigitte Bardot just passed aged 91. Songs from this classic album have appeared on various posted playlists over the years. Thought I'd post it as a wee tribute. Might have to pull out the movie Shalako and give it a watch. Sad to be losing another legend.
[2025] Wet Leg - Sweet Pea Sessions (BLR)
Been compiling this all year and just finished it. Collects all the Sessions and TV appearances I can find that cover the release of the album moisturizer. mangetout is easily my fave track of the year, and as it means sweet pea I used it for the title. The album is just pure class and it helps that Rhian is completely bonkers in that best British eccentric way. I've had to do a little repair work on some of the tracks to make it flow being that it's collected from multiple sources. Probably not for everyone, but this is one of my favourite compilations of the year. Art is made of screengrabs from their promo videos. Hope at least a couple of you appreciate it.
[1986] Dogs In Space
I originally posted the soundtrack to this movie in 2021, but as I'm going through a bit of a Rowland S. Howard faze at the moment I thought I'd update it and post the movie as well. One song of his I really love is the song Shivers. He wrote it when he was 16 and it was eventually recorded by The Boys Next Door. It appears in the film and on the Soundtrack, as well as a great version by Marie Hoy. If you've never watched Dogs In Space then you're in for a real treat. It's a dive into the grimey heroin ridden Melbourne streets of 1978 Australia, and the post punk band Dogs In Space. Michael Hutchence of the band INXS plays the lead and it's a pity he didn't do more acting as he does a great job. I have no idea where I got this expanded Soundtrack from or who compiled it, and all I can say is thank you. Highly recommended!

Was having a bit of a Rowland S. Howard evening. Played his records and watched this great documentary for the umpteenth time. Thought I'd share it, so here you go.
