[1984] Hanoi Rocks - Two Steps From The Move (Original Acetate)

Original version before they changed the cover and the track listing before they removed Million Miles Away and added Up Around The Bend.

[2015] The Peckham Cowboys - Wired London 12.12.12 (The Peckham Cowboys Live)

Just had this requested. I honestly thought I'd already posted it. Tasty bit of rock 'n' roll with the sadly missed legend that was Darrell Bath. A must have for any fan.

[1988] Deep Blue Dream - Deep Blue Dream (12'' EP)

[1988] Deep Blue Dream - Deep Blue Dream (12'' EP)

Overlooked Gothy Dream Pop EP from Wayne Static that I hadn't played in a decade or more. Wayne went on to create the lovely noise that is Static X. Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins was in the band for a heartbeat. Always remind me of bands like Skeletal Dance, The March Violets and The Mission. Just an awesome lovely wee noise. Many thanks to Ben for reminding me just how good this is.

[2025] Tigertailz - Fighting Dirty (BLR)

[2025] Tigertailz - Fighting Dirty (BLR)

Shocked and saddened to hear of the sad passing of Ace Finchum over the weekend. Steevi broke the news yesterday on his Facebook page and it's still hard to believe. I was living in a no nothing small Australian town when Young And Crazy came out and I felt like I was the only person who listened to Glam Metal/Glam Punk in a thousand miles. Music magazines like Kerrang, Metal Hammer, RIP and Circus etc were always 2 months out of date when I finally got a copy of them, and I had to order in all my records from Melbourne and Sydney. Those first two Tigertailz albums have been constantly played and well loved for over 35 years, and those records almost seem like family they've been with me so long. This compilation of B-Sides, Bonus Tracks and Demos has been in the works for a long time and covers the release of the first album. Just had to get in done finally as a small tribute. None of these are the remastered versions, so a couple of the demo tracks are from old bootleg collections and the quality does vary in a few places. Thoughts go to his family, friends and all us fans. Just very sad news.

[2025] Demolition Doll Rods - Here Comes The Demolition Doll Rods (BLR)

[2025] Demolition Doll Rods - Here Comes The Demolition Doll Rods (BLR)

Had Demolition Doll Rods suggested, and as this has been sitting on my work pile for a couple of years I thought it was time to get it done. Lo-Fi Garage Punk at it's noisy finest. Compiles a handful of Non Album 7" Singles and the Peel Session. Original sketches by Derek Hess who has done countless Band posters and album covers. If you like bands like The Stooges, The Cramps and Destroy All Monsters then you should dig this.

Suggestions etc

Suggestions etc

Just discovered a pile of requests and emails have gone to my Spam folder for some reason. Can't get back to every message, but I'm taking note on every suggestion. Some of which are quite surprising. A lot are folks asking for the same thing. Lot's of things now in the works. Keep those requests etc coming!

The Voluptuous Horror Of Karen Black

The Voluptuous Horror Of Karen Black

Repost request that I'm more than happy to oblige. Kembra is a one of a kind originator and a transgressive punk icon. Everyone needs these three records in their collection. An easy 10/10 recommendation. Plus a small collection of seperate tracks.

[1993] The Hangmen - Suicide Doors (Unreleased Album)(BLR) Updated version with correct tracklisting.

[1993] The Hangmen - Suicide Doors (Unreleased Album)(BLR)

I got this with no information or tracklisting. I've used the names of all the tracks that have been rerecorded and released, or I know from being played live. The rest I took a stab in the dark from listening to the lyrics. So all mistakes etc are mine. I've also taken the art that came with it and gave it my twist. Why it wasn't released I have no idea because it's a lovely wee bit of noise. Many thanks to Derek. Now updated with correct tracklisting!

[2025] Girlschool - Running With The Devil - Live (2025 BLR Master)

[2025] Girlschool - Running With The Devil - Live (2025 BLR Master)

Took a challenge from new Blog friend Iggy to recreate the 1982 Nakano Sunplaza gig. Previously only the first 16 tracks have been available on the 1998 release Race With The Devil Live. The only downloadable copy on the interweb is low quality, and the CD can go for ridiculous money. Somebody wants $600NZ on eBay at the moment for a copy, which is bonkers. So I've taken three difference sources and combined, then remastered them to create the show. I've also put a twist on the original CD title. We believe this is the last show before Enid left. I think I've done a decent job, but let me know.

The Hangmen Help Wanted!

The Hangmen Help Wanted!

Does anyone have a copy of this rare The Wet And Wild Ones Cassette from 1985? Or any other early Demos, or any Live shows etc so I can put together a collection to share with everyone. I have 16 shows already sorted. Anything would be greatly appreciated. Unreleased 1993 album Suicide Doors coming tomorrow.

[1986] Britny Fox - In America

[1986] Britny Fox - In America

This might get a couple of eye rolls as Britny Fox has been considered a bit of a joke band over the years, but I really like those early Dizzy records. This is the first Demo release.

[2025] The Hangmen - Slow Death In A Desperation Town (BLR)

[2025] The Hangmen - Slow Death In A Desperation Town (BLR)

I finished this compilation a few weeks ago and wasn't going to post it until I've finished sorting out a couple of Live shows, but as I've had The Hangmen requested a bunch I thought I'd pop it up today. This contains all sorts of bits and bobs, Singles, B-Sides, Live Tracks and odds and sods, my usual sort of thing. If you're in Los Angeles and California make sure you go and see them this month as they play dates with the brilliant Joneses. Also watch Bryan Small on The Jonesin With Jeff Drake podcast.

Didn't expect such a quick response. Thanks for all your suggestions. That's enough to keep me busy for a few months.

[1989] Crisis Party - Rude Awakening

[1989] Crisis Party - Rude Awakening

Long forgotten Punk and Blues tinged dirty Sleaze/Glam Metal. This is the Seattle band that Duff from Guns N' Roses was in for a heartbeat. LP can be picked up quite cheaply, but the CD can be a bit pricey. Would have been interesting to see where a second album would have led. Just tasty and well worth a listen.

Now taking suggestions for a special week. Could be anything. Beegees, Tyla & The Dogs, Hanoi Rocks & Co. Johnny Thunders,  Adam & The Ants, Thin Lizzy, Goth, Glam Punk, Sleaze, Pop, Elvis... 60's, 70's etc. A-Z anything and everything considered as my collection is pretty massive. Playlist #91 - Mephedrone Kitty

Playlist #91 - Mephedrone Kitty

My usual eclectic mix. Features tracks from Kevin K And The Bowery Kats, YUNGBLUD, Danny Wildheart & The UK Reprobate, Band-Maid®, Neil Young and more. And the title is a play on words of the Manic Street Preachers song Methadone Pretty. Mephedrone of course is a designer dug called miaow miaow so it all kinda fits.
