[1989] Scarlet Fever - Just What The Doctor Ordered (Vinyl Rip)

[1989] Scarlet Fever - Just What The Doctor Ordered (Vinyl Rip)

Better quality rip than the copy I posted back in 2019. They of course morphed into The Dogtown Balladeers which I'll be posting tomorrow. If anyone has the Scarlet Fever Demo Cassette can you please get in touch.

[2014] The Jim Jones Revue - The Last Hurrah (Live At The Forum)(CDr)(BLR)

[2014] The Jim Jones Revue - The Last Hurrah (Live At The Forum)(CDr)(BLR)

Last show from the awesome Jim Jones Review. I believe this was only sold as a limited CDr after the show and then was released a few years later on streaming, but I'm not 100% sure, so don't quote me on it. If you like loud, good fun Rock 'N' Roll then you'll love this, and the legend Walter Lure turns up as a guest as well! I've popped a bit of added art together as is my thing. Highly recommended!

[1977] Heartbreakers - L.A.M.F.

[1977] Heartbreakers - L.A.M.F.

I had planned a ten Volume collection of various editions of L.A.M.F. but there are countless copyright issues so I won't be doing it. These two releases from Track Records seem okay so hopefully I'll have no problems. We all probably know the issue between the mastering and the vinyl pressing, but with the cassette having no problems. So these are direct rips of both. To my ears there is really not much of a difference, but I'm not coming from the perspective of The Heartbreakers, or the producers etc. For anyone wanting a true representation I suggest the 2021 Found '77 Masters Record Store Day vinyl pressing. These are both in Flac.

David Johansen

David Johansen

For those that messaged me about the David Johansen Discography repost, I've just finished tracking everything, just gotta sort out covers etc and it will be posted. Definitely by next week.

[2026] The Sick Livers - One Man Stag Do (BLR)

Not 100% sure if this is their complete Discography, but it's gotta be close. Just deliciously noisey Punk Rock. Highly recommended!

[2016] Honest John Plain - Acoustic Menopause

Another cool album from Honest John as requested. I don't have a copy of the Untuned LP from 2009, but if anyone can help that would be awesome.

Love early Counting Crows and was talking to a friend about them and this Bootleg, so I thought I'd post it. Search the Blog for a couple of other Counting Crows bits and bobs.

[2026] REIRIE - Under A Cherry Heaven (BLR)

[2026] REIRIE - Under A Cherry Heaven (BLR)

As you all know I love everything Japan, although I have an aversion to the whole Idol School J-Pop thing. It's just too twee, formulaic and plastic. I get it, and understand it's popularity but it's just churned out like fast food. Rei and Rie are different because they broke the mould in LADYBABY with one of the first Death Pop bands. Sure it was manufactured, but it was noise instead of the usual saccharine cutesy pop. They then morphed into more adult pop in The Idol FormerlyKnown As Ladybaby before splitting. Rei went onto a Punk band with her sister called Brats and Rie went into a more Alt Pop sound with trolleattroll and ilie. They reformed a few years ago under the name REIRIE and have been doing live shows and releasing music regularly since then. This collects all their releases. I love it, and if you do go and buy their records, but fair warning they are not cheap.

[2026] New Yok Dolls - An Alternative History (BLR)

[2026] New Yok Dolls - An Alternative History (BLR)

The idea for this collection went through a couple of incarnations. At first I wanted to just repeat each album in the best quality of Live Tracks I have, that just ended up as a disjointed mess. Then I thought I'd do each album as the official release with the whole album repeated as Demos and Live Tracks. Reasonably okay idea but nothing I'd play more than once. Then came the idea of repeating the Rock 'N Roll compilation as Demos and Live, and then it finally morphed into this. So you have the albums by release in Demos etc, the bonus tracks on Rock 'N Roll and the Non-Album Live Tracks from Red Patent Leather. I think it's come out pretty well.

[2025] Nazareth - Ruby Tuesday (Mini-Album)(BLR)

[2025] Nazareth - Ruby Tuesday (Mini-Album)(BLR)

This started off as wanting to put Nazareth's awesome cover of the Stones track Ruby Tuesday on a Playlist. As I'm putting together a pile of Japanese styled Mini-Albums I thought I might as well do one for Ruby Tuesday. Other Mini-Albums will include bands like AC/DC, Steve Earle, Devo, Rod Stewart and the Ramones etc. I'm going to make a whole month of them. Although this is only 5 Tracks those will all be 6 Track collections.

[1999] City Girls' Boys - City Girls' Boys

[1999] City Girls' Boys - City Girls' Boys

Lovely wee bit of Glam Punk from Lesli Sanders. Of course you will all know him from Queeny Blast Pop, Talks Cheap and Prophets Of Addiction. Just do a quick search and you'll find a few things on here already. Well recommended!
