Cristina Quesada

[2013] Cristina Quesada - Pineapple Princess (7'' Ltd Ed EP)
By now you know I listen too a wide variety of music (Just check out my Playlists!). Oddly I was suggested Cristina because of my love of Shonen Knife. It's a weird connection and I didn't get it at first, but I've grown to love this Ukulele Twee Pop all the way from Madrid. Anyway this is her first 7" EP. It's pretty hard to find so that's why I don't mind posting it. She's just put out a new record and it's definitely worth a listen

The Warriors...

[1979] The Warriors (OST) One from the depths of time... Who can believe this is 40 years old! Can't tell you how many times I've seen this movie. Sure it's dated over the years, but it's still a fucking cool movie.

Psi Com...

[2019] Psi Com - Demos & Rarities

Earth Vs.... The Demos

[1993] The Wildhearts - Earth Vs... The Demos
Earth Vs. was my first Wildhearts album and is still easily my favourite. This has been released under various names over the years, and copies used to be pretty expensive. A CD copy will still set you back around $50 if you can find it. Anyway here ya go...

Devil's Hungry Heart - Master Series Volume Four

I posted a version of Devil's Hungry Heart a while back. It was from an 18 track source that I originally had on cassette, but had just got a better MP3 copy from a different source. I had heard of a 21 track version, but this has 22 tracks and must be either from the Master or very close to it. It sounds fantastic and is highly recommended. Many thanks to the person who just sent it to me.

[1985] Ipanima Katz - Night Kixx (7'' Single) Wildhearts fans will probably want this one...
Ipanima Katz

Tyla - Dingwalls 1999

(1999) Tyla - Dingwalls ~ Camden, London, UK (5 August 1999)
Tyla opening for Clam Abuse. I thought I had their set, but I can't find any of the Clam Abuse shows I have. Got to be somewhere though and I might post it if I find it. Couldn't get rid of all the glitches on this, but other than that I got it sounding pretty good. Notable for an early appearance of Little Boy You. If you don't know Clam Abuse track down the CD and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

The 5.6.7.8's

The 5.6.7.8's - Mondo Girls A Go Go. This is a 7" EP from 1989. Not exactly rare or obscure, but it's still a favourite.

Bob Dylan

I love Bob Dylan. I didn't get into him until my early 30's, but since then he has been a major staple on my stereo. With the release of the 14 disc Rolling Thunder Revue Collection (I'm only through to disc 4) I thought I'd post a bootleg everyone needs. This is Possum Belly Overalls. 2 sessions from 1969 and 1970 featuring a whole host of well known musicians including Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and George Harrison.

Tyla & Jo Dog

[2001] Tyla & Jo Dog - Factoria D'Arts ~ Terassa, Spain (8 June 2001)
Bootleg quality varies and some are better than others. This was far from being the worst, but it certainly wasn't the best. Took a bit to get it where I'm happy with it, but now it's quite listenable.

The Dark

[1982] The Dark - The Living End. Not exactly rare or obscure, but as it's only been released on vinyl I thought it's okay to post. This is Razzle pre Hanoi Rocks recorded with The Dark at the legendary 100 Club on the 29th June 1982.

Obscurity #10 - Daisy Chain

I've done four different mixes of my next Dogs upload and I'm still not happy with it. It speeds up and then slows down all through the tape and I just can't get it consistent. I'll post it when I'm happy with it, until then I thought I'd post this... from a vinyl rip. Daisy Chain's Do What Thou Wilt from 1988.
Daisy Chain

Obscurity #9 - Vietnam Chain

[1990] Vietnam Veterans - Susmoala Beat... This was only released on vinyl and is a collaboration between France's brilliant Vietnam Veterans and Germany's Daisy Chain. To my knowledge Daisy Chain never really recorded anything but the one album and a couple of singles. Anything with Mark Enbatta is worth a listen. Apparently the Vietnam Veterans have reformed so there will be a new album somewhere on the horizon.

...another bunch of fave toe tappers!
36 24 36 Hey!

The Creatures

Beautiful Violence... I love Siouxsie in any form. No matter what happens Metal Postcard will probably remain in my top 25 favourite songs of all time. I know that's probably an odd one to pick as there are so many great Siouxsie songs to choose from, but it is what it is. Anyway here's some demos from The Creatures.

A Cabinet Of Curiosities

This is a collection of Tyla & Dogs rarities. I've already posted most of these in one form or another, but I have this thing where I do various compilations and playlists. It could be my favourite songs of the moment, or half remembered classics, or even just my current top 10 faves from an individual artist. Mostly it's just an excuse to play music that I love. So here ya go... a bit of this, a bit of that and a little bit of the other!

Johnny & Stiv

I'm a massive Johnny Thunders and Stiv Bators fan. So I thought I'd post this rare jem. It's Johnny & Stiv at Le New Moon in Paris on the 24th March 1987. I've also seen it as a Gibus show as well, but the poster of the actual show is clearly Le New Moon.
