I'll be honest and say I didn't know The Limps until a few days ago when I saw an article on the song Someone I Can talk To. Listened to the track on Youtube a couple of times and love it. A perfect piece of Post Punk. These are all the tracks I can find. I know of one more unreleased track that was just released on a compilation. When I find a copy I'll pop it on a playlist. Just a rough cover asI'm busy. Well worth a listen!

For me Britpop was a strange beast. In the main it was a singles driven movement with full albums seemingly chock full of throw away nonsense. You had of course standouts like Suede, Placebo, Oasis, Elastica, Menswear and Echobelly. I never, and will never consider Manic Street Preachers as Britpop. But then you had the "Singles" bands like Blur, The Verve, The La's and Pulp mixed with bandwagon "One Hit Wonders" like Space, Ride, Ocean Colour Scene and Reef etc. One of my favourites to this day is Echobelly, and I don't think they really got the chance to shine outside of the UK. It's just well crafted, well delivered Pop Rock or Britpop or whatever you want to call it, and is as fresh today as it was in the early to mid 90's. Hopefully this collection will garner them some new fans. I also had a wee crush on Sonya, but that's a secret!

I've just been introduced to ISS lately and I have no idea how they passed under my radar. They were quite notorious back in the day, being both subversive, transgressive and promoting the rights of the LGBTQ+ community. When promoting an ISS show you were asked if you would like a PG, an R18 or a XXX version. Let's just say having seen a fair bit of private footage you'd have to go for the XXX. I mean who doesn't want to go to a show and not see live sex, BDSM and a lovely young lady getting impaled on a drill dildo and oh so much more. Not only that, but they were an astoundingly good bunch of musicians with banging tunes. Imagine GG Allin lyrics before he became a complete parody of himself, or the tongue in cheek songs of Steel Panther mixed with the music of Turbonegro and Motorhead. It's clever, it's witty, its total smut and it's 100% pure fun. This is a compilation of all their finest tracks compiled by Michael, with my twist. Many thanks brother for the intro and all the shares. Highly recommended!

I've been wanting to put together a Circus Of Power Best Of... for a couple of years and have tried several times at doing one that could be ripped to just one CD as I like to do. I just couldn't pick the songs that would do them justice on that one disc. Lately I decided to try again and this time expand it to 2CD's. Even then it's been hard to pick those tracks as for me they've never put out a dud track. After several edits and iterations and messing around trying to get the perfect tracklisting I've settled on this and I'm very happy with it. Let me know what you think.

This compiles the complete Stevie Vayne. The music swerves through different sounds starting with The Vaynes which to me is like a mix between The Stooges and the Dead Boys. Through to The Dead Vaynes which sounds kinda like Post Punk and early Goth. Imagine Sisters Of Mercy meets The Damned. Then his sound matures with Stevie Vayne And The Slaves which I see as a cross between Doll By Doll and The Bad Seeds. But that's just my opinion and my ears. Wolf hearts and dog lungs are apparently the only things in Chinese cooking that you can't flavour to eat.
