Tyla & The Dogs D'Amour... to come.

Just a quick note to say that I only have around 40 more or so Tyla & Dogs bootlegs to post. With several related bands on top of that. I'm bound to get more as time goes on, but I might start posting a few more Bootlegs by other bands, as I don't want to just post everything and then stop this Blog. Any requests or if you have anything that I haven't posted, please let me know.

Hard Rock Hell VI - Fistful Of Rock 2012

Hard Rock Hell VI - Fistful Of Rock 2012. Held at Hafan y Mor Holiday Park ~ Pwllheli, Gwynedd, North Wales on the 1st of December 2012. The quality of the copy I was given of this wasn't the best, but after several attempts I manged to get a mix I'm happy with. The balance might be a little off but it's very listenable now.

Marquee 1994

[1994] The Dogs D'Amour - Marquee ~ London, UK (20 May 1994)
I previously posted this as part of the Fall For Nothing compilation that I put together a while back. It's not on the original Fall For Nothing Bootleg, but I got it on a copy of Fall For Nothing II. I thought I'd repost it as I just did a cover for it as a seperate gig.

Cumbria Rock '90

This must have been a radio broadcast at one stage. The copy I had was pretty bad, but it hasn't come out to bad.

Ghost

I was going to put up an old Wednesday 13 gig to show that he's better than this current nonsense he's doing. I love him, but this new direction to me is a complete disaster. I know what he's trying to do, and he's always worn his influences on his sleeve, but to me it's pretty terrible. Anyway here's a gig from someone who does it right. I have quite a few Ghost shows and Tobias has never done a bad one. So here's Ghost in Sweden 2015.

Devil's Hungry Heart

I got the original cassette of this 20 odd years ago and I've played it 100's of times. It's definitley something everyone should have in their collection. I've heard of a version that has 21 tracks, but I don't have a copy of that, so here's my 18 track version. If anyone has the other version please let me know.

Coconut Teaszer 1991

This is something special. An acoustic show from Tyla at the Coconut Teaszer, Los Angeles (8 November 1991). There are some shows that you just wish you could have been at, and this is one of them for me. Notable for an early appearance of Damnation.

Bridlington 1990

(1990) The Dogs D'Amour - Leisure World ~ Bridlington, UK (11 October 1990)
This one was a little rough to start with, but I've managed to make it fairly listenable.

Dominion Theatre...

I don't like to post genuine releases but this is a bit of an odd one. My original version is dated 15 February 1989, but on the remixed version on the BBC Radio Sessions release it's date is 8 December 1990. I can't find anything about it, but it could be either. Maybe it's the recorded date and the aired date. I kind of think if it's December 1990 then there would be Straight songs on it. Anyway this is the original unmixed version recorded from the Radio. If anyone knows anything please let me know.

Gig Posters & Flyers...

I was sent a pile of Flyer pics and scans the other day. On one of them Tyla is advertised as being an ex member of Guns N Roses... now that would have been interesting.

This is a compilation of  the 2 recorded dates from the June 1989 Rock Attack Tour.

Japan 1989

The Dogs D'amour - Tokyo, Japan (3 June 1989) This is the second date on the Rock Attack '89 Tour that The Dogs did with the brilliant Circus Of Power. I've previously posted the Osaka gig and some of the TV appearances they did while on this short tour. I'm not sure if the third gig was recorded, but if anyone does please let me know.

Water Rats 1998

Tyla acoustic show at Water Rats ~ London, UK 15 September 1998. Quite pleased how this one came out. The source I started with wasn't the best. Tyla the comedian is in fine form on this one. Tyla also debuts a couple of unrecorded songs at this gig as well.

Doris Day...

Well just because Doris Day died aged 97, I thought I'd throw up the Soundtrack to my favourite movie of hers. And yes I do like an old school musical... so here ya go.

[1985] Hanoi Rocks - Rock & Roll Divorce

I'm a pretty big Hanoi Rocks fan, and although I don't want to post easily available genuine releases I thought I'd post this as it's only available on cassette and vinyl. Recorded live at the Rockerina Festival in Poland on the 19 May 1985.

Babymetal

I love Babymetal. I find a lot of Japanese Death Pop and Visual Kei Bands far more interesting than a lot of Western Bands. I'd rather listen to Fate Gear and Brats than Ed Sheerhan or most of the other nonsense we're force fed. But in saying that I like Selena Gomez so what the fuck do I know. Anyway here's a little Babymetal....

The Canines Of Love 1991

[1991] Tyla & The Canines Of Love (14 December 1991) This is my new mix of this show. I'm not sure of the venue, but it is Tyla and Steve James.

Dreaming Of Theda Bara - Playlist #11

I thought things were getting a little out of hand so I've decided to just do 15 track playlists from now on... so here's another mix of songs I love.

Obscurity #8 : Aleister Crowley

I've always been fascinated with Crowley, and I've read quite a lot of his writings and several Biographies. Got a pile of it stashed away somewhere. 95% of the Magick stuff is total nonsense, but his books are interesting none the less. Diary Of A Drug Fiend is worth a read, as is his book on Absinthe. Either way he led an interesting life. Anyway this is the Wax Cylinder Recordings he made in 1920. I've tidied it up a little, but every version of this is pretty terrible. To be expected really as it was recorded straight onto wax.

The Last Bandits - South Shields (21 August 1991)

This is the final Last Bandits installment. What I started with was pretty bad, but I've done my best to at least make it audible. I would only suggest downloading this if you're a collector.

The Last Bandits - Birmingham (16 Aug. 1991)

I have this thing with Adam Bomb. Admittedly he has written some pretty good songs, and he is a fairly good guitar player, but sometimes his voice just annoys the fuck out of me. That and with him being a total arsehole hasn't really warmed me to him and his music. Anyway here's another one from The Last Bandits. I've tried to make it listenable, but what I started with was pretty dreadful. I've also included a few Adam Bomb bonus tracks that The Last Bandits played live. Two covers so you can choose to do what you want.

"That was my wedding song..."

[2005] The Dogs D'Amour - The Barfly ~ Glasgow, Scotland (17 October 2005)
Quite pleased how this mix came out, took a bit to get it where I was happy with it. I'm just an amateur stumbling about, but things seem to be coming out okay. A lot better than what I start out with at least. Fantastic version of When Bastards Go To Hell...

The Wildhearts...

I've always loved Ginger and The Wildhearts. I stopped collecting Ginger and The Wildhearts etc bootlegs several years ago, but I still managed to get a couple of hundred, including Sonic Circus and Silver Ginger 5 ones. So as The Wildhearts have just released a fucking awesome record in Renaissance Men I thought I'd do a mix of a Japanese show from 1996. So here's The Wildhearts live at the Liquidroom ~ Tokyo, Japan (18 October 1996)

Guns N Roses 1986

Personally I thought that the two Use Your Illusions albums were self indulgent and bloated. There were several great songs drowned in a lot of shite. It really should have been one really great album, and several EP's released through out the following tour that lasted almost two years. After how brilliant Appetite For Destruction was, I was totally underwhelmed. Anyway this is the best sounding earliest Bootleg I have.... Live at Music Machine 1986.

Rebellion, it always sells at a profit....

This is a compilation of early Manic Street Preachers Demos and Rarities. Loved the Manics since 1991 so I thought I'd throw this together...

Cambridge Junction 1993

The Dogs D'Amour - Cambridge Junction (1 July 1993) Another one from the More Unchartered Heights Of Disgrace tour. I've had 2 versions of this gig. One was quiet and the other was seriously unbalanced and oddly came mainly out of the lefthand speaker. So I've done my best to do a listenable mix. It's still a little tinny in places, but it's now pretty listenable.

Unchartered In Barcelona

There are very few More Unchartered Heights Of Disgrace era bootlegs around. I know of only a handful. The quality of this audience recording was pretty rough, but I've done my best to make it fairly listenable. The Dogs D'Amour - Sala Garage ~ Cataluna, Spain 1993.

Lusitanian Ghosts...

Finally got the Lusitanian Ghosts Vinyl today and it's simply stunning, and highly recommended. So I thought I'd stick up a gig from Neil Leyton as a treat. This was available on his old Website many many moons ago. Includes one of my favourites... Ingrid Schubert. If you don't know Neil, do yourselves a favour and track down his CD's, you wont be disappointed!

You Want To Be Like...

Quick note on the You Want To Be Like... 6 Volumes. Just found a list of some of the gigs where the tracks came from. They're from at least 13 different gigs spanning 2005 to 2017. Only 3 have Venues and exact dates. The rest are just the track lists split into individual unnamed gigs. I know there's a lot included, but if anyone knows of any of the sources please let me know.

Razzmatazz...

I included an untouched version of this on the Dynamite Triple Feature disc I posted earlier. This is a new mix I did to give it a bit more punch and I think it sounds pretty good!
