[2022] Demon Preacher - Dead End Kidz (BLR)
Razzle was the drummer in Demon Preacher before he was in Hanoi Rocks. He appears on none of these recordings, but it is still highly significant in his history. Of course he later went on to be the drummer in The Dark before joining Hanoi Rocks. Demon Preacher and The Demons of course morphed into the brilliant Sex Gang Children.

First off a million thanks to the original taper IJWTHSD. With this Edit I have amplified it and levelled it off a little, and split it into seperate tracks. I have also removed the Crowd noise from the start and end, as well as editing out the long Intermission. Apparently there was professional video taken so hopefully this will get an official release. I have also included a file of photos taken from the Hanoi Rocks Facebook page, so many thanks to all those photographers as well. Three hours or so long and every second is worth listening to. I really wish I could have been there!

When we started in 1995 Los Angeles, the music scene was full of shoe-gazer alternative acts staring at the floor not moving a muscle on stage. So being a band that played little-known songs by the MC5, Iggy and the Stooges, the Runaways, and the Dead Boys seemed like a sure-fire way to rock our way into complete obscurity at this time. Black Lodge Relics... Remasters etc
I know the term Remaster I use is a misnomer, I just don't know what other term to use when I fuck about with stuff in my amateurish way. Do I make things sound better... sometimes I think I do, and sometimes I think I make things sound much worse. Either way I just post the stuff I do personally for myself. If anyone else likes it, fine. If they don't then that is fine to. Even if this was my last ever post I'd still be doing exactly the same thing. After all when I first started I got no visits for years. I then deleted the whole thing and started again. One post on a Facebook page made things take off and here I am. This Blog isn't to gain as many likes and counter clicks as I can or any of that nonsense. I just do it coz I love to share the music I love to people who actually might enjoy it all as well. I will only ever post music I like. I do get requests for bands that I think are god awful, but I also know that everything is subjective and everyone likes different things. So I hope you find something on here that gives you half as much pleasure as it gives me. Don't forget to keep those requests and suggestions coming... I also do personal posts for folks occasionally so if there's anything you want just send me a message. And here's my favourite song ever, from my all time favourite record Adam And The Ants Dirk Wears White Sox...

I've always loved this self released EP from L.A.'s Hardly Dangerous, but it always seemed quiet and muffled so I had a fiddle with it and here it is. Tommy Lee from Mötley Crüe's sister Athena played in the band for awhile, and of course Tomi was the wife of Soul Legend James Brown.

Super rare collection of Soundchecks from 1984. Contains the original file I was sent by Frank "Streetwalkin' Cheetah" Meyer, and my remastered edited version. [1979] Stingray - Stingray (1997 Reissue)
A request, and one I never expected to get. Long forgotten album from South African rockers Stingray. Their second and final album wasn't nearly as good as this one, but this album is a great example of late 70's early 80's melodic rock, and a real surprise considering it came from South Africa. This is the Unofficial German 1997 Reissue with 7 Bonus Tracks. The 2021 French Reissue sounds really muddy to me and doesn't do the album justice, but this version is well worth a listen or two.
