Sadly this week we lost a punk guitar legend with the passing of Cheetah Chrome. My first Tribute was a bit of a fuck up thankfully quickly picked up. So this is version two. This collects tracks from throughout Cheetah's career. I've deliberately not included any Dead Boys tracks as I wanted to bring his other bands to the front. Thoughts go to his family, friends and us fans. Rest in Peace Cheetah you made the world a better place.

[1986] Venom - The Singles 80 - 86
On the tasty new Behemoth album there's a brilliant cover of Venom's In League With Satan featuring Shagrath Of Dimmu Borgir. When I was a teenage Metal Head I thought Venom was a naff comedy band and ignored them. Kinda like something your drunken uncle would put together with his mates from down the pub. All influenced by Hammer Horrors and wanting to be Black Sabbath, but with a giggle. It wasn't until I was in my forties that I gave them a real listen and fell in love with them. The influence they've had on all genres of Metal is astounding. Highly recommended!

With the news that the Manics are releasing a Live album and DVD that chronicles their 2014 Holy Bible show at the London Roundhouse I thought I'd jump the gun and post a cheeky Bootlegged recording preview. This only includes the Holy Bible set and not the second one that they did of hits etc. I've also put together an Alternative Holy Bible for Disc Two. This compiles the album in Demos, Outtakes and Live versions. Gotta say I'm eager to hear a quality recording. The official album drops on the 23rd of October so get your Pre-orders in if you like what you hear.
