[1981] VA - 1981... The Sound (LP)
Christmas album the family got when I was a kid growing up in Australia. I dunnoh who compiled these sorts of records but there are some weird inclusions. Still these Various Artist albums did give me an eclectic taste. Quite Australian artist heavy as you'd expect and a nice piece of nostalgia.
[2026] Tim Curry - Something Short Of Paradise (BLR)
The world has sadly lost another icon in Tim Curry. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is my favourite movie of all time and I've lost count of how many times I've seen it. I watched it twice last month. And yes I did partake in the interactive midnight sessions back in the day. So of course I've had to pop something together. So this consists of his three solo albums and a bunch of tracks from the 2010 ...From The Vaults Compilation. The first album is a bit of a mish mash where they're not entirely sure which lane they're in, but from the second album it's pure gold. It's been a rough couple of days, what with the loss of Dolly and now Tim, hopefully this will introduce more listeners to his under appreciated LP's. R.I.P. to a fecking legend!
[2026] Dolly Parton - Do I Ever Cross Your Mind (BLR)
The world has lost another absolute legend with the sad passing of Dolly Parton. I couldn't count the hours of listening pleasure she's given me over the years. There's nothing like putting some Dolly on the stereo and having a couple of adult beverages on a lazy sunday afternoon. With a Dolly show it really was a show. You'd get some great stories, a stand up routine and of course some totally awesome songs. This small tribute gives you all over those, with a show recorded Live in London in 1983. Thoughts go to her family, friends and all us fans. Thought she'd live forever and she will be greatly missed.

[1989] Flesh + Blood - Dead, White & Blue (LP)
Originally released under the name Dear Mr. President the album was recalled because of copyright issues. For some reason two tracks were removed and it was reissued as this. Julian Raymond went on to write songs, Produce and Mix albums for artists such as Cheap Trick, Dandy Warhols, Glen Campbell, Roseanne Cash and even Insane Clown Posse. Just an old favourite that I highly recommend.

Been a fan of Maria and In This Moment since Beautiful Tragedy came out nearly 20 years ago. With the new album Witch dropping in the next few days I thought I'd pop this together. Collects B-Sides, Bonus Tracks, Non Album Singles, Covers and Rarities. Just a lovely wee noise!
