Anyone who has followed the Blog for awhile knows how much I love Rock City Angels and how much the album Young Mans Blues means to me. This compilation is made with the kind permission of Bobby's widow Patti Durango and collects the Jim Dickinson and Phil Lorito Mixes and a copy of the rare Studio 9 Demos that got RCA signed to Geffen. Just awesome Blues fueled Rock & Roll. Highly recommended, and with many thanks again to Patti.

Change of plans. With Baz Lurmann's Elvis Concert hitting theatres this week I thought I'd pop up a bit of the King. This is his very last concert. It's an audience recording, but someone in the mists of time has turned it into something very listenable. Anyway this is my updated version, and long live the King.
