[1986] Rolene - Rollin' With Rolene (Vinyl Rip)
Conny Bloom and Gyp Casino's band. A few pops and bits of crackle here and there, but they're minimal and all up it sounds amazing. Haven't heard this record in ages as I lost my copy, and as it's impossible to find an mp3 copy anywhere on the web it's awesome to finally get a new copy. Many many thanks to Marmike for the vinyl rip.

ReplyDeletethanks so much for this! I am a bit in shock as I just found that the two guys who played in Hanoi Rocks in 2008-2009 -- Conny Bloom, guitar & Andy Christell, bass -- are in this band? I had watched the "That's All" video on youtube (https://youtu.be/NOCAzKlxmSM) several times for the past months and NEVER recognized them! I am still a bit confused here... Looking at this photo, Conny Bloom is in pink and Andy Christell is in the center, right? So Gyp is the guy wearing shades? And who is the other guy? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteBen Tell was the drummer played in lots of bands and did session work after Rolene. Thats Ben tell on the left.

Deleteapparently there was a whole album recorded under the bands original name roadrats which remains unreleased...we can only dream that maybe one day it will see the light of day (Marmike)
