A very good friend asked for a copy of this solo album from John Phillips of The Mamas & The Papas. It was recorded for the Rolling Stones label but was shelved until after he died. It features Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ron Wood from The Stones, Chris Spedding and Mick Taylor. Well worth a listen.

It's almost impossible to make a great Siouxsie & The Banshees compilation. Apart from a couple of covers on Through The Looking Glass I pretty much love every track. They're also one of the few bands where all the B-Sides could be album tracks. Collecting tracks for 2CD's was difficult and I went through several different versions. Then doing a Tracklisting I'm happy with was another chore. I'm really happy how it has finally turned out. If these two posts are popular I might pop up some of my favourite Bootlegs. Just glorious!

It's hard to put a Compilation together of my favourite Marilyn Manson tracks as I don't think he's ever done a bad one. Back in the old tape trading days I was sent compilations of the original Spooky Kids Demo Tapes and a CD of a Live Show. This was before the first album came out and I loved then straight away. When all the allegations started a few years back I deleted all my Manson posts. To be PC and all that. I'll stay far away from those and just stick to the awesome music. One Assassination Under God Chapter 1 was my second favourite album of 2024 after the mighty The Cure's Songs Of A Lost World. Anyway I think this is a pretty good introduction covering his career. Couple more things coming in the next few days.
