70's Garage Punk from Akron, Ohio. You have to thank Frank "Streetwalkin' Cheetah" Meyer for me putting this together. I recommend starting with Disc Two and then play Disc One. A must listen. Just a brilliant noise!

[2025] Siouxsie & The Banshees - Swimming Horses (BLR)

It's almost impossible to make a great Siouxsie & The Banshees compilation. Apart from a couple of covers on Through The Looking Glass I pretty much love every track. They're also one of the few bands where all the B-Sides could be album tracks. Collecting tracks for 2CD's was difficult and I went through several different versions. Then doing a Tracklisting I'm happy with was another chore. I'm really happy how it has finally turned out. If these two posts are popular I might pop up some of my favourite Bootlegs. Just glorious!

Siouxsie And The Banshees was the first band T-Shirt I ever brought and I wore it until it was a rag. Title is from the lyrics to Metal Postcard. Just a glorious noise!

It's hard to put a Compilation together of my favourite Marilyn Manson tracks as I don't think he's ever done a bad one. Back in the old tape trading days I was sent compilations of the original Spooky Kids Demo Tapes and a CD of a Live Show. This was before the first album came out and I loved then straight away. When all the allegations started a few years back I deleted all my Manson posts. To be PC and all that. I'll stay far away from those and just stick to the awesome music. One Assassination Under God Chapter 1 was my second favourite album of 2024 after the mighty The Cure's Songs Of A Lost World. Anyway I think this is a pretty good introduction covering his career. Couple more things coming in the next few days.

I've lost quite a lot of Hanoi Rocks and Related Bootlegs with the death of the Harddrive. Thankfully I have all the official releases and I've been able to Download my posted links. Marmike just sent me a copy of this show, so I thought I'd so something with it straight away. I found the original a little bassy and reverby so I've touched it up just a little to where I like the sound. It's a quality show and of course a must for any fan. Thanks Marmike!

[2025] Hanoi Rocks - Revolution Rock 'N' Roll (2CD)(BLR)

Another compilation that will probably never officially happen because of the multiple record companies involved. This collects tracks from the rebirth years 2002 - 2007. For some reason these don't get the love they deserve, just like the New York Dolls rebirth ones. Sure there's a few clunkers and misfires, but a good 95% is class. Loved putting this together and playing it on repeat as I'm trying to sort out my Harddrive and computer issues. Don't have to recommend this one as you just know you have to have it! Let me know what you think.

Posts...

Having a few personal and computer issues and just lost a 5TB harddrive. Thought I had everything backed up but didn't. I'm going through everything I have file by file and I'm running into a lot of corrupt files. Should be sorted in the next day or two to resume posting. I'm slowly putting together a list for things I'll need replacing so I hope some of you can help me out. A lot of things I'm not overly bothered in losing as I'll never be posting them and they were just for the archives. Anyway that's the news.

[2025] New York Dolls - We're All In Love (2CD)(BLR)

Wanted to listen to the reunion Dolls albums which I love, and when there's no official compilation you have to make your own. This collects tracks from 2004 thru 2011. You would think someone would have done this already. Anyway I'm pleased how this came out, and of course I recommend it. Dolls on the cover are hand made by Marina Bychkova and are really something special, and I recommend you all checking them out.

[2023] Lords Of The New Church - Vive Le Rock Awards (6 Apr. 2023)

The Lords Of The New Church with Michael Monroe. It was nice to see them together, specially as how much Stiv meant to Michael, but I must admit I was left a little disappointed. I wish they'd done a couple more Lords songs and not covered New Rose and Pills. Quite a bit of dead air as well, but it's still a nice tribute. Recommended for any fan.
