[1993] Slamhound - Chaos Personified (CDr)
Unreleased album from Josh Todd's Pre- Buckcherry sleaze outfit. This is an updated better quality and freshly tagged version thanks to a friend from Japan. Still no sign of the fabled Live Bootleg. Enjoy! Link fixed.

[2019] The Southern River Band - Rumour & Innuendo (Self Release)
A request and one I'm very happy to pop up. Great southern swamp tinged hard driving rock and roll from from Perth, Western Australia. I lived in Perth back in the mid to late 1980's and I wish these guys were around then, coz it was all top 40 cover bands and pub rock. New album D.I.Y. came out last year so if you like this go and get it.

The Cherry Bombz
Thanks to new info about other tracks The Cherry Bombz played I pulled out my Bootlegs and found three other songs. Menaced By Nightingales, Knee Deep In Sky High and You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet. The quality isn't really worth updating the previous collection, but I'll be posting all the shows I have in the next couple of days so if it's your liking you can put together your own compilations.
[2025] The Cherry Bombz - Gasoline City Blues (BLR)
Not another Cherry Bombz Compilation from Black Lodge Relics I hear you say. Well hopefully this one is a wee bit different. It collects all the tracks they ever played during their short existence as far as I can tell all in one place. I tidied up the last track Up Around The Bend which is from a CBGB's Bootleg. And of course it's recommended!
[2025] Suburban Lawns - Gidget Vs. The World (The Complete Suburban Lawns)(BLR)
Repost request for this awesome Californian Post-Punk band. All freshly updated. CD & Vinyl repressings of the collected LP and EP runs around $350 -$400 NZ, and it doesn't include the Gidget 7" or any of the Bonus Tracks I've tagged on so I don't mind popping it up again. Just a highly recommended glorious noise!

Blog emails...
For some reason my emails were flagged as spam and I just checked. I'll be getting back to you all shortly as I have a lot to respond to.
[2025] Bob Dylan - Dylan 65 Revisited (Acoustic Version)
Dropped a Hard drive and killed it so I've been sorting things out to transfer to a new one when it arrives. Was putting all my Dylan in order and thought it was time for a post. So that's what you have here. A cracking wee collection that's well worth a listen for both new and old Dylan fans.
[2025] Madonna - Dress You Up (1978 - 1982)(BLR)
There's an astonishing amount of Madonna Bootlegs floating around on the old interwebs. I don't know if every show she's ever done has been recorded, but I wouldn't doubt it. Without too much trouble you can find more than you could ever listen too. As you know I'm only interested in anything up to her third album. Gigs pre 1983 are impossible to find and are on my want list. Not overly bothered with shows other than those, and really just stick to Demos and Sessions from any of those first three albums and her late 70's period. Anyway this is a sampling of Madonna's first bands up to the demos for the first album. If anyone has any shows from The Breakfast Club, Emmy and Emmy And The Emmys can you please get in touch.
[1998] Backyard Babies - Total 13 (2025 BLR Special Edition)
Posted a rubbish version of this back in 2022, and as I was just going through all the albums I thought it was time to do it right. One of my all time favourite records given the BLR treatment. Trashy brash Rock 'N' Roll noise at it's finest!
[1998] Backyard Babies - Total 13 (2025 BLR Special Edition)
[2001] Elastica - The Radio One Sessions
A must have for any Elastica fan.
[2025] Hanoi Rocks - The Collected Singles (1981 - 1984)(BLR)
Put this together for myself and thought I'd share. Everyone has all the songs of course, but I wanted to have the singles as they were released. All in Flac.

[2020] You Wanna Know What It's Like - A Tribute To The Hollywood Brats & The Boys
As requested. This compilation sat on the shelf for nearly 20 years before finally being released Digitally. I was a little disappointed to be honest as I would have loved a hard copy. Of course I made my own, and that's what you have here. It's still hard to believe we lost Andrew and Honest John so close together recently. Many thanks too Desert Island Records out of Italy for putting this together and to all the artists who did outstanding jobs on their Tributes. Simply a must have.
[2020] You Wanna Know What It's Like - A Tribute To The Hollywood Brats & The Boys
[2025] Joey Ramone - A Closer Look (BLR Edition)
My very good friend G. asked for a copy of this and I thought it would make a great post. Compilation of unreleased tracks from Joey Ramone originally released on a CDr. I think it was from the early 2000's but don't know the exact date. It was reissued on vinyl in 2020 so if you like it go and buy the LP. Enjoy!
The Magnificent Others With Billy Corgan... Sharon Osbourne
Love Billy's podcast and he's really grown into an interviewer, and you can tell he's a real fan of everyone he interviews. The two parter with Paul Stanley is just brilliant and the best member of KISS interview I've ever seen. He even managed in his interview with Gene Simmons to make him come across as not so much of a pillock than he normally does and that's an almost impossible task. If you're a fan of Black Sabbath and Ozzy then this is a must. If you're interested in how the music business works then this is even more than a must.
[1975] Black Sabbath - We Sold Our Soul For Rock 'N' Roll (1986 Reissue)
Watched Billy Corgan's Podcast with Sharon Osbourne and went through a wee Sabbath listening party, and started to organise all my bits and bobs into one file. Thought I'd post something, so this will suffice until I put my own collection together. This is a classic release that I must have listened to a million times. A must have for every collection!
[1975] Black Sabbath - We Sold Our Soul For Rock 'N' Roll (1986 Reissue)
[1968] William Shatner - The Transformed Man
Bills version of Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds is class. A must for every collection.
[2025] Ming City Rockers - Ducks, Lemons & Motherfuckers!!! (BLR)
Finally managed to finish this compilation of the usual types of things from the glorious Ming City Rockers. Just a deliciously raucous noise that will put a smile on all of your faces. Can't recommend this one enough!
[2025] Ming City Rockers - Ducks, Lemons & Motherfuckers!!! (BLR)
[2010] Ruby Slippers - The Demos (Recorded 1987)
Time for some old school Glam. There is an album I believe as well as a Bootleg of a Show and a Rehearsal. Sadly I don't have those.
[1999] Space Age Playboys - New Rock Underground
This has been on my "To Post..." pile for far too long. Trashy Glam Rock 'N' Roll from Kory Clarke of Warrior Soul and Johnny Jetson from more cool ass rock 'n' roll bands than you can count. Bands like Tattooed Millionaires and Queer For Girls. Just a glorious sleazy noise.
[2001] Eclipse - The Truth And A Little More
A recent request and I thought I'd pop it up straight away before I forget. Something I never really thought I'd be asked for is a little Swedish Melodic Power Metal. They are still around doing their thing, but grew a little samey and stale for me after Bleed And Scream. I'll go with Italy's brilliant Derdian all day for this genre of music. This album is solid and well worth a listen.
[2001] Eclipse - The Truth And A Little More
[1999] The Boys - Punk Rock Rarities
Just as I'm posting todays posts to my Facebook page I sadly hear that Honest John Plain has passed away after a long illness. Gotta say I'm heartbroken as he's been in my musical life for decades. Thoughts go to his family and friends. Make sure to search and download all the other Honest John I've posted over the years. Just gutted. R.I.P.
