Time for a little more Detroit Garage Punk. I've refreshed some of the tracks to make it more even throughout, but there's some vinyl crackle in places and a little bit of tape hiss from an old cassette. Being it's a fairly raucous noise the crackle etc doesn't really distract in the gaps between tracks. Well recommended and enjoy!

Big typo oops on the previous version so if you're interested you might want to redownload it. Same story. Set a task to make a compilation of one Heavenly single, one track from each album, one B-Side and one Cover. Difficult thing to do and it went through several versions before I settled on this and I'm happy how it came out.

[2025] Ace Frehley - Rocket Ride (BLR)
It's been one of those truly awful days. Ace Frehley left us today and the world seems a little greyer for it. Not ashamed to say I shed a tear or two when I heard he'd passed. I saw KISS before I heard them. I remember seeing their photos in magazines and thinking they looked like superheroes. Then I heard them, and I was sold. I was eleven when I really took notice of them and a life long love began. I get a few eye rolls from purists, but my two favourite KISS records are Dynasty and Unmasked, but in saying that the LP I play most is Double Platinum. And my most loved track is Hard Luck Woman. Contradictions I know, but that's the way life is meant to be. Took me awhile to think of something to post as a Tribute before I settled on putting this together. It collects the very first show from Frehley's Comet, with Rehearsals and a couple of 1984 Demos on Disc One. Disc Two is an FM Broadcast from 1988 and the Unreleased EP from 1995. Just a sad day. Thoughts go to his family, friends and all us fans.

Felt like a little Jimi while doing some chores and surprised myself that I'd never put a playlist together. So that's what you have here. I wanted to stick to thirteen tracks, so I ended up with mostly the obvious tunes, but this almost developed into a 2CD set. I mean there's just so many great tunes you could add, but I'm happy with it, so you all get it.

Just love Cyndi and She's So Unusual is a perfect 10/10 album for me. I really need to finish the expanded version I started a few years ago. This is the second night of the three night stand at Budokan. Got this as a single track so it's all been edited and tracklisted etc by me. Great stories in between the songs with Cyndi at her quirky best. Kind of hard to believe she's 72. Great show to have if you're a Cyndi fan. Can't wait for next years shows from her residency in Las Vegas. See a previous post for a sort of Greatest Hits.

Couple of releases from Marc Eden of The Peckham Cowboys. Had to think about posting his solo album as it only came out in 2023, I checked and as it only seems to get around 10 streams a month on Spotify I thought it would be fine. Plus it needs more ears. So if you're inclined hunt down a copy and make a purchase.
