I was asked to repost the version of the 1972 Blue Rock Demos I originally posted back in 2019. Couldn't find the version with that cover anywhere in my files so I tarted up a new cover. These are the first recordings with David Johansen. There's been a lot of different versions released over the years, including recently, but as I originally popped it up back in 2019 I don't mind doing so again.

I'm far from being a Lloyd Cole fanboy, but I love his early records and this one in particular. I must have played it a million times since I got it on it's release. I'm surprised something like this hasn't been released officially, so as there isn't one I made my own. Contains the album, all the B-sides, and a couple of Sessions. I'll be posting a Live compilation from this era tomorrow. And of course I'll highly recommend it!

A request. I have a couple of issues with this cd. First the band shouldn't be called The Throbs as it has nothing to do with Ronnie Sweetheart and he's not on the record. And secondly it shouldn't be so good. It was only released digitally so I've popped together a bit of artwork using the digital cover.

Not the best quality, but still very watchable. Collects the Promo Videos and Interviews with Michael Monroe.

Stiv - Last Race update
Thanks everyone for all the info on Whores Of Babylon. Apparently it was just an idea that has continued to live in the rumour corners of the internet. The session was scuttled when Dee Dee and Johnny had an argument and Dee Dee broke Johnny's guitar and trashed all his gear. They did not play live and did not appear on the album although listed. The information was corrected on a 2015 reissue called Do You Believe In Magyk? Sorry for the mix up, and it's still a great record.

Friend asked for a copy of the "Supergroup" Whores Of Babylon record with Stiv Bators, Johnny Thunders and Dee Dee Ramone. Had a complete brain fart and had no idea what he was talking about until I remembered it was released as the Stiv solo record Last Race. I have so much nonsense floating around in my brain I forget stuff. Anyway here it is, and it's a pure gem.

A friend asked for a copy of this and I thought I may as well post it for any Thunders fan that hasn't seen it. I thought it was rubbish, but worth a watch. What I'd really love to see is a quality Documentary on Johnny like the one that was done on Stiv.
[1971] Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory (OST)
I don't own a television, but on my break I got to surf through several streaming services. I also got to watch my favourite movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show on a massive screen, which was awesome. Even though I'd watched it a couple of weeks before, it never gets old. Anyway doing the surfing I saw a pile of old movies I loved as a kid and this is one of them. It's like an Easter ritual to watch this every year. Nowhere near Easter, but whatever. Obvioulsy not for everyone, but it's a great soundtrack and a lovely piece of nostalgia. I've got a golden ticket!

This glorious piece of Detroit noisey punk comes via the ever generous Steve. Just a great noise for your ears. If you like The Stooges, The MC5 etc then you'll love this. Well recommended.

A friend asked for a copy last year and it gave me the idea to put together an expanded version as an official version will probably never see the light of day. So this collects the album, bonus tracks and the original demo. Just a great solid rock record.
