Atmospheric Black Metal/Dark Wave/Dungeon Synth call this what you will, but it's all good.

[2024] ARO - Vacare Adamaré (BLR Expanded)
[2024] ARO - Vacare Adamaré (BLR Expanded)
ARO is Ozzy's daughter Aimee's Synth/Dream Pop band. This compilation collects the Vacare Adamaré album expanded with Singles and Live Tracks. Vacare Adamaré had a limited Vinyl release, and all her music is just released via Streaming and not in any physical medium. I love this and I can't recommend it enough, and many thanks to Michael L for the idea.

[1994] The Smashing Pumpkins - Unplugged
[1994] The Smashing Pumpkins - Unplugged
A very good friend asked me for a copy of this so I thought I'd post it. I got my original cassette version from a seller with a pile of Anais Nin lectures and Allen Ginsberg and Charles Bukowski Poetry reads back in '94 and I played it to death. Sadly they've all gone in the passing years. Also check out the Mayonaise Dream bootleg I posted back in 2021.
[2005] Kelly Osbourne - Sleeping In The Nothing (Bonus Tracks)
[2005] Kelly Osbourne - Sleeping In The Nothing (Bonus Tracks)
I've taken a lot of crap over the years for liking this synth pop record from Ozzy's daughter. I wasn't much of a fan of her teeny punk first album although it is still pretty solid Pop Punk. The Number 1 Changes cover she did with Ozzy I found a bit cringe, but I just really love this record. This includes all the Bonus Tracks and B-sides without any of the unnecessary Remixes. The wonderful thing about music is that there is something for everyone. People despise this record, but I love it, and as it's my Blog you get what I love. Give it a listen, you might end up liking it as much as me.

[1988] Wild - Wild 1
[1988] Wild - Wild 1
As this Dizzy Reed oddity was mentioned in a Glam post on Facebook I thought I'd post it. It's kind of a synthy rocky gothy grebo mish mash put together by the duo of Dizzy and a guy called Todd Barrone. Apparently they had quite a following in the mid to late 1980's. Dizzy of course went onto Guns N' Roses. My description sounds a bit odd, but it works and is well worth a listen.

[1993] Demolition 23 - The Grand ~ New York City, NY (9 Aug. 1993)
I've had a couple of versions of this show over the years, and was just sent another from a very good friend, so I thought I should finally do something with it. Every copy I have has a messed up Tracklist so that had to be corrected. This is by far the best sounding version I have and seems to be direct from the Master Tape. This post contains my BLR version and the Original tape in Flac. Other than correcting the tracklist I've left the original as is. My version I've converted to MP3 and repaired the split Tape Flip into one single track, and of course it's all tracked and correct. This is a great show and is a must for any fan. A million thanks to the original taper.
The BLR version...

Various Artist Metal Compilations
Various Artist Metal Compilations
Another set of Compilations I was requested to find. These are more my speed.

[1985] Various Artists - California's Best Metal
[1989] Various Artists - Street Survivors

Various Artists - U.S. Metal Compilations 1981 - 1984 (Shrapnel Records)
Various Artists - U.S. Metal Compilations 1981 - 1984 (Shrapnel Records)
I was given the challenge to find these vinyl compilations, and it was easier than I imagined as they were available as single tracks on Youtube. I've tidied things up a bit, although there is still crackle in a few places, split the tracks and tagged everything. I grew out of Thrash and Speed Metal when I was like 21 or 22, the same time I gave up on Hardcore Punk. Just prefered the whole Glam/Sleaze/Gutter Punk/Bluesy thing to the over twiddly twiddly shouty shouty thing. Oddly though I've continued to love Death and Black Metal. These are a nostalgic trip to my teenage and early adult years. So pull out the old Battle Jacket from the attic, throw those horns and bang your head. A great trip down memory lane.
[1981] Various Artists - U.S. Metal - Unsung Guitar Heroes
[1982] Various Artists - U.S. Metal Vol. II - Unsung Guitar Heroes

[1980] Pete Stride & John Plain - New Guitars In Town (Vinyl Rip)
When you cross Pete Stride from The Lurkers with Honest John Plain fom The Boys you get this lovely piece of jangly Punk Power Pop. This is a great record with some catchy tunes and I just don't understand why it doesn't get the love it deserves.

Yup!
I get a lot of crap, some really nasty stuff and I don't name and shame, but this came through today and ticked me off just a little. You all know by now that I post what I have and what generous folks have shared with me for all of us. And yes sometimes quality is variable. If you had put in a nice and polite request I would have asked one of my friends for a better copy as I don't have this CD, and I would have posted it with pleasure. I just want to say I wish I was as awesome as this person. Sir you are a star and a true gent. Now feck the feck off!
