Break from posting update...

Hopefully have a new flat to move into in the next 10 days. so once I'm sorted I'll be able to organise myself and start posting again. Should be early next month. Probably do a pile of posts as a catch up and then go back to my normal. Once again thanks for all your messages and emails etc. It's been a trying time and they've been greatly appreciated.

My old house is totalled but I should be getting rehoused in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully I'll be back posting at the end of the month. Thanks to everyone who has been in contact it's greatly appreciated.

Break From Posting....

My house is pretty much totalled and will need a rebuild according to my case manager. I guess being flooded with sewer water and a million nasty things will do that. Black mould is starting to take hold even though the house is pretty dry now. Get's in the walls and the joists and under the floorboards etc. I'm only supposed to go in for short periods of time being yellow stickered. Anyhoo I found an old thumbdrive that wasn't ruined so I'll be posting something in the next day or so. Many thanks to all the messages and emails they're greatly appreciated. Quick video of when the water started rising. Rose about another 3 or 4 feet. It is what it is.

Break from posting update...

Still gonna be awhile before things get back to normal Blog wise. My house is destroyed and I've lost a good 90 odd % of my belongimgs. 15 TB worth of music and movies etc on external harddrives all gone. Maybe 6 or 700 CD's, probably more as I didn't have time to count them as I threw them in the rubbish, 300+ DVD's & Blurays, Probably around 500 books, Old Bootleg VHS tapes and cassettes that had not been copied are all gone. Plus I lost my stereo so that sucks extra hard. Managed to save a couple of drives so I will be posting again. It will just take awhile to find my feet. Thanks for all the emails and messages etc they're greatly appreciated. I'll let you all know what's happening as things progress. Be good to yourselves.
