My good friend Mike reminded me that I hadn't posted this yet. This was a weird mix originally. Songs were loud and Tyla's banter was barely audible. I've tried to repair it so it's constantly level throughout, but it's fought me the whole way. So you get what I'm fairly happy with.

Had Pat Todd requested which of course is no problem. Everyone should have albums from this punk rock legend in their collection. The problem was what to post. After bollicking about I decided to do one of my comps. So this collects all the 7"'s, Splits, EP's and singles from 2009 up until 2023. I don't have the last 7" from early this year as there was only 350 odd pressed. If this is popular I'll pop up a couple of early Rankoutsiders albums. I've lost nearly all my Lazy Cowgirls stuff, but might post something as well. Cover model is Diana Dors.

Forgotten piece of late 80's Glam/Hair Metal history. These girls were once pushed to be the female Poison come Motley Crue come Cinderella etc. That fizzled out pretty much immediatley the album came out. I actually quite like it and thought they were better than Vixen at the time. Well worth a listen for any Glam fans.

I've previously posted this brilliant album in mid 2020, but it now it comes to you in an expanded 2CD form. It now includes all the B-sides. Not a weak track amongst the two discs. If you dig bands like The Muffs, Redd Kross, The Breeders and The Friggs etc alongside anything Riot Grrl then you will totally love this. A million thanks to the ever generous Rick Rose Rude for sharing his collection of singles.

This has been on my "To Post..." pile for well over a year. It was just requested so I finally got my act together and here you go. Never understood how such a class band with great songs did one album and then disappeared. Gore Verbinski went on to Write, Produce and Direct movies. Notably a couple of the Pirate's Of The Carribean franchise. They were also known to back Stiv Bators on his solo adventures. Well worth a listen.

Wee bit of an oddity, but an awesome one. Gary Jacoby & Pat Smear from the Germs etc doing acoustic folk songs. Not quite what you'd expect, but it's simply brilliant! I've popped this comp together collecting both albums. And of course I recommend it. Artwork is by occult artist Austin Osman Spare.

Imagine The Harlots Of 42nd Street, Soho Roses, The Toilet Boys, The Zeroes and New York Dolls etc. Highly recommended.

Have loved The Mockers since 1984 when I first heard Forever Tuesday Morning. They had released quite a lot of stuff before then but I only came to New Zealand in 1984 so missed out until then. This contains some of my favourite tracks and a Live album.
Steve Vincent's Mystery City reaches episode 100. If you love all things Glam and Sleaze this show is for you. Congrats Steve and highly recommended!

Two Ep's shared by songwriter and Blog friend George Dewey. I was going to throw around "Sounds like..." names like Creed, Live and Seether etc but I think these two EP's are far better, and are more in the vein of Myles Kennedy and the awesome Alter Bridge. Burn on the Dewey McKiernan EP, which is a complete stonker of a track, was written for the first Chris Daughtry album but wasn't used. In my opinion that was a mistake. Anyway give them both a listen and let us know what you think. And if there are any other Songwriters/Bands who want an audience just shoot me a message.

Contains one of my all time favourite New Zealand songs in Sierra Leone. Could never quite put my finger on where Coconut Rough fitted. They were neither one thing or the other. They float from standard 80's guitar Pop through Post Punk and into Synth Pop and New Wave. Kind of a mish mash but all good.

New Zealand Garage Punk legends. If you like Garage and Action Rock bands like The Hellacopters, The Hangmen, Gluecifer, The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs, Andrew WK and Supersuckers etc then you'll love this. Collects A's & B's and various odds and sods. Just a glorious Rock 'N' Roll noise!!!
[1992] Push Push - A Trillion Shades Of Happy (2024 BLR Expanded Edition)
New Zealands most successful Glam Metal type band. One album and they were done. The singer Mikey Havoc has gone on to be a Kiwi Radio and TV staple as well as being a club owner and DJ. Some pretty tight songs and they were a fun night out. I've posted the album before, but this new version comes expanded with seven bonus tracks and my art.
