5 Track Demo Cassette from Bif Naked's early band. It's probably got a million other names, but I've always called it Funk Punk. Includes the original Cassette Cover and a wee bit of CD art I've knocked together featuring Fay Wray from the 1933 film King Kong. And thanks to Marmike for the suggestion.
Bif Naked
After a dozen or so years Canada's Bif Naked will be releasing a new album. Hard to believe I've been a fan for nearly 30 years. Check out my previous Bif posts, but for today here is her first to albums and a live show I've just done my thing with. Bif Bootlegs are impossible to find, but this show from Canada Day 2019 is pure fun. Enjoy!

We all know and love Sally Cato and Smashed Gladys. Just attitude filled grab you by the balls and scream Rawk 'N' Roll. The Creech sent me this raw collection that has obviously been ripped from a well loved cassette, as there's some tape stretch in places. Just adds to the charm and the love. It contains the Gene Simmons Demos, a Live show from an unknown venue and a cracker of a Radio Interview. A must for any Smashed Gladys fan or lover of kick ass New York '80's glam punk rock & roll. [2008] Elvis - The Joan Deary Tapes
Joan Deary was the RCA executive in charge of the Elvis catalogue. She was also the person that recorded the Aloha From Hawaii album and produced several Elvis records. The Hawaii album was actually recorded with her sitting on boxes in a small closet. After Elvis passed away she went to Graceland and catalogued all of Elvis' Home Recordings. It's mainly because of her we have a lot of the posthumous Elvis releases. This is a compilation from her tapes of Studio Tracks from 1979 - 1972. A must for any Elvis Fan.

Bit of a Box Office bomb which I've never understood as it's a cracker of a film. Thankfully it's taken on Cult status. Soundtrack is a bit of alright as well. Recommended!

Michael sent me all their releases months ago. So I've popped it all into one compilation. Meant to post it with the ISS stuff but got distracted. Just crude Sleazy Punk 'N' Roll at it's rawest. Mastering and mixing is all over the place but it's all worth a listen. These guys seemed to play with everyone back in the day, from D Generation and Jesse Malin to Circus of Power and the Ramones etc. Just pure rambunctious noise. [2005] The Tears - Here Come The Tears (2024 BLR Expanded Ed.)
In 2005 Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler reunited to form The Tears. Gotta say I was excited and thought they'd do more than the one album. Bernard decided to go back to producing so the band dissolved. Brett has said he'd love to make a new Tears album so you never know. This collects the Album plus all the B-Sides and some Rarities. A must for any Suede fan.
