Smash Fashion

Smash Fashion

Time for something Quireboys related with Smash Fashion. Nigel Mogg once played on one of their 7" singles. A tenuous link for sure, but I'll take it. Either way it's just glorious Rock N' Roll! Hit the link below for more info.

  1. Nigel only played on the 2011 “Blame It On The Brandy” 7”.

  2. I'm good friends with Roger (Deering), he's put together a new band now - CRYMWAV - a bit more metal than SF but still real songs with actual choruses etc. There were quite a few great SF songs from the end of the band that never got released - obviously I can't share them but maybe they'll turn up some day on a comp or something.

  3. And, incidentally, just interviewed Tyla for a major length retro Dogs feature re the new box set. I asked him about the bootleg sites like this one etc, and if he'd never thought about maybe putting the best out himself - like the Thunders 'Bootlegging the Bootleggers' idea - and apparently he had, but didn't think any of them really warranted a 'formal' release status from the vast number that he - and some of his friends - had ploughed thorough. He's quite happy with them all being out there though for fans to pick up if they want.

    1. Tyla used to hate the Bootleggers. I know he's listened to some of the stuff I've posted. Personally I think a 6CD Clamshell of the best shows would be awesome.
