[2026] Data Clan - Skid Row Gypsies (BLR)
Pre Love/Hate compilation. Collects the 1985 Synth Rock EP and a bunch of Demos. Not 100% sure if all the Demos are Data Clan but they're all pre 1988. Apart from the opening track the EP is pretty dreadful. The Demos vary but are well worth a listen. You can hear the obvious changes, with the songwriting morphing from generically dull Synth Rock into a far more interesting Glam Metal band. Plus they do a pretty good cover of The Beatles I Am The Walrus. More Love/Hate is on the work pile but I haven't got to it all yet.
