Yngwie J. Malmsteen
I was introduced to Yngwie as an innocent young lad by a gentleman who was recovering after being hit in the head with a sledgehammer. Which in itself is a bit of a story. We sat on the pavement listening to a walkman with an ear bud each. Gotta say I was hooked straight away. Anyhoo... since Steeler has been more popular than expected I thought I'd pop up the first four, and my favourite Yngwie albums. Thirtyfive + years and a gazillion listens later and they don't get old. I find the albums after these four became a little to samey, but the live records and DVD's are awesome. Recommended coz they're awesome!!!

I like the First 3 albums a lot too Nik, saw him at Rock city in' 88 a strange pairing with The Quire boys... I was getting a bit bored with the extended solos TBH but a great talent none the less... Guess I saw the light that night.. P.S Think there is a Nice Japanese Boot of that show floating around somewhere. How About some Alkatraz? (Marnike)
