I don't usually post things with Nikki Sudden in deference to his Estate, but as this is pretty much everywhere and I'm on a Kevin Junior kick I thought it's fine to post. Both of my copies of this show was barely audible so I tidied it up a bit and made it much more listenable. You can never go wrong with Nikki or Kevin, and both together is brilliant.

I'm not an audio engineer, nor do I have any flash software, I'm just an amateur who likes fiddling about. I make do with a couple of free editing programmes and an old clunker of a computer. I just try to do my best to make things sound a little bit better than what I start out with. This Blog is not a serious thing at all, it's just me having a wee bit of fun, and sharing the music I love. I could stop posting tomorrow and I'd still be doing the same thing, I just hope you like what I do. Anyhoo...

Belated tribute to the sad passing of Hank Von Helvete. I wasn't happy with the volumes I've had to post for over a year, so I've tweaked them, added more tracks and done new art. The people who paint Turbonegro with the ...ic and ...ist brushes (ie... Homphobic and racist etc) just don't seem to get the irony, sarcasm and pure wit of Hank. Personally I think those critics need to find a sense of humour and relax a little... There's some pops and crackling from some of the old 7" singles I couldn't remove, but anyway here's Volume 1 of this Remastered B-Sides collection.

Yes we all love the original vinyl albums, but these Remasters are the best quality that has ever been released digitally. I'd actually put them in front of most CD versions. So if you want to play the Dogs through your phone or through Bluetooth etc, you really can't go past these.

Thought I'd post another album that I love as a bonus for today. I love Kevin Junior and this is simply a brilliant record. Not a weak track on it. His first album with the Mystery Girls has been on my wishlist for many years. I highly recommend his band The Chamber Strings as well. Another under appreciated musician that we lost way too soon. Highly recommended!

Bill and Boyd were a Duo that first started out in New Zealand, but moved to Australia in the early 70's. This album contains their two biggest hits... Santa Never Made It Into Darwin and Put Another Log On The Fire. Not my usual kind of post, but it's part of my musical history... and all newly mastered, and yes I still love this record!
