Gary Pennick told me that these Masters were done by the record company to sell digitally on Amazon Music and other platforms. When the shite cardboard Un-remastered Boxset was released all of them were deleted. Only T made any money on the deal apparently, because of publishing. Steve told me that him, Jo Dog and Bam never saw a cent from any of the releases they've ever made, including the original releases. So that's why I feel free posting them.
BTW Nik i'm doing my Own Mott the Hoople remasters shorty including the Quad Mix of 'the Hoople' Plus bonus trax if you are interested? and want to share with the site? (Marmike)
I'm posting Ian Hunters Dirty Laundry in a couple of hours. Been on the pile for ages, so it'll be nice to see what the reaction is. If the boot stuff isn't the best I can have a go at it myself. Still think a pile of Mott rarities will go down well. Dunnoh if you do Facebook, but using Messenger makes things a lot easier for sharing, unless you want to do it by email.
Just seen the Hunter post Nik, Nice :) my later day solo Fave is 'Rant' 'Morons' is very Mottish in a Violence /Marionette type of way I'll Up the stuff as usual to my Mediafire and mail it to you as usual if that's OK, Gave up on facebook years ago, The Hoople/Mott and Dudes will all be ripped from the SA CD's extras will be ripped from various sources box sets and boots quality on the boot stuff will be selected with quality in mind but they obviously wont be a s good as the direct CD rips :) I'm sure you will do better cover art than me :) (Marmike)
