[1995] Holton & Steel - Ruby (Best Of)
A much loved favourite. Gary Holton and Casino Steel, doesn't get much better!

[1995] The Damned - Noise (The Best Of The Damned Live)
It's The Damned and it's a glorious noise!
[1978] Plastic Bertrand - An 1 (2010 Japanese Reissue)
A favourite Punk Rock classic I should have posted years ago... with another much loved song. And yep it is Ca Plane Pour Moi of course.
[1986] The Squires - Going All The Way 1965-66 (Vinyl)
Rare and overlooked piece of vinyl. Contains another favourite song in of course the title track, Going All the Way. Bit scratched, but it's still awesome.
[1989] Destroy All Monsters - Singles & Rarities
Having a few personal issues so things might be a bit off and on for a while. Anyway I thought I'd post a few things to keep you all busy for a bit.
Bored is one of my very favourite songs. The amount of times I've put it on a months playlist probably speaks to that. I really should have posted this years back, but here it is now. Highly... and I mean highly recommended.
[2023] Candy - The Last Radio Show
Compiles Whatever Happened To Fun, Demos, Live Tracks and Rarities 1981 - 2003.
[2023] Candy - The Last Radio Show (WEHTF + Demos & Live 1981 - 2003)(BLR)
The City Kids... More Filth album now ready for Digital Download and Pre-order. It's an absolute Rock N' Roll stonker that I can't recommend highly enough. Do yourselves a favour and also support Independent Music and a genuinely lovely bunch of guys by spending a few of your hard earned pennies on this lovely bit of noise... Please use the Link below.
New Theme....
Lydia Lunch Collage from the 1978 Fashion Calendar. Sadly when I had my flood I lost a pile of Lydia Lunch DVD's that I'd compiled over the years along with the harddrive it was all backed up on. Anyhoo...
Steve Vincent's Mystery City
The lovely Steve Vincent is looking for new Bands and new tunes for his brilliant Radio Show that I've promoted several times on the Blog. If you're a band etc... shoot him an email!
Just a heads up to band's, labels and PR companies as we race towards the end of the year. Due to health issues I will be prepping December's shows in advance over the next week so if you have ANY new music that fits the Mystery City vibe, please send it to me now via stevevincent94@yahoo.co.uk
[2023] Electric Light Orchestra - Juliana
I'm a big fan of Juliana Hatfield and I've been listening to her ELO covers album pretty much on rotation over the last few days. All her cover albums have just been astonishingly good so far and I highly recommend you streaming them. Anyway I got this idea of compiling all the ELO tracks and putting this together for myself, and of course I have to share it. To be honest I'm not a huge ELO fan. I find 90% of all their releases complete over indulgent Prog Rock bollocks, but there are about 20 odd tracks that are just absolute stonkers. This collection contains some surprising tracks but all of them are pure class. Recommended!
[1996] Nancy Boy - Nancy Boy
Total cracker when it first came out and it's still a cracker!
[2023] Guns N' Roses - Chinese Democracy : Demos & Sessions (1999 - 2008)
Part One...
Part Two...
[1986] Trick Or Treat
Let's take a trip back in time to when I was a teenage metal head... Went to see it at the movies a couple of times then watched it a gazillion times on VHS. And yes that does make me an old bugger. Anyhoo I'll be posting more nostalgic movies I love in the future.
First... The Movie!
Secondly... The Soundtrack! (In Flac & MP3)
[2023] Fields Of The Nephilim - Collected Bootlegs
Had a request recently that I'm happy to oblige. So here you have a collection of shows from those dirty old Goths Fields Of The Nephilim. Thought I had a bunch of early shows, but can't find them so they were probably lost in the January flooding disaster.
Part One
Part Two
[2023] Dogma - We Are All Our Own God (Video EP)(BLR)
Dogma are a fairly new band that are creating quite a buzz, with comparisons to a female Ghost. I don't know about that, but I do know I love it. Sexy, sacrilegious and smart Power Metal. I think they will be huge, so I put this together as a sort of Introduction EP. It includes all the five videos in 1020p, audio rips in both flac and mp3 and a folder of art and images. I put this together for myself, but I hope you all like it. Stream the album on all your favourite services.
[2023] T.Rex - One Inch Rock (BLR)
Compilation of some of my favourite T.Rex songs. Started with over 50 but whittled it down to the 30 I'd set for myself. One of my regulars suggested a Thin Lizzy/Phil Lynott collection which I'm going to start on. Stick to 30 tracks on that as well. Love doing my compilations and the Black Lodge Introduction Series so if you have any thoughts, suggestions or request send me a message.
If you feel like sharing anything with me and your fellow Blog viewers please get in touch. All credit is given, and all shares are appreciated. You know the music I post so if you think you have something that would go down well on here just shoot me a message.
[2023] Hanoi Rocks - Midnight Ride (Songs Covered By Hanoi Rocks)(BLR)
I won't repeat some of the nastiness I got from my last covers post. It wasn't meant to be a complete collection of originals, it was just a collection of tracks I like and versions I like. Wasn't meant to be comprehensive in the least. One fellow inundated me several truley horrible emails, and left messages in various posts, and with this post he'll probably be back. Made me question why I bother there for a bit and I considered just deleting the whole Blog it was so bad. Emails come through as anonymous so I don't have any idea who thay are. Messages from trolls I can delete within minutes so nobody else can read them. I'm all good with suggestions and constructive criticism but personal attacks are awful. Anyway in inspite of that, and with the help of a new Finnish friend we have compiled this. Hopefully we have collected a compilation of all the songs Hanoi Rocks has covered over the years. From both Studio and Live Shows. I'm sure they covered more in Soundchecks etc, but this is as complete as we can come up with. If you know of any others and have the source let me know and I'll expand the collection.

[1969] Townes Van Zandt - A Gentle Evening With Townes Van Zandt
My favourite Townes album.
[1969] Townes Van Zandt - A Gentle Evening With Townes Van Zandt
[2023] Guns N' Roses - Appetite For Destruction (The D & S Version)(BLR)
I've compiled this from a pile of different Demos and Sessions. I've also included Shadow Of Your Love and the original version of Don't Cry just to round off the album.

[2023] Hanoi Rocks - Trouble Boys (Songs Covered By Hanoi Rocks)
Been meaning to complete this for awhile, but as my good friend Marmike just suggested it the other day I thought I'd finally get around to finishing it. So here you have a collection of songs made famous by Hanoi Rocks. Well that's not exactly true... 😁 Anyhoo even without the Hanoi Rocks connection this is a cracking compilation and well recommended. Cheers Marmike for lighting the fire! And these are not all the original versions, they're the versions I prefer.

[1981] The Expressos - Promises & Ties (2023 BLR Expanded Edition)
Sadly overlooked British Power Pop band. Jangly loveliness. As far as I know this has never had an official CD release. This really needs a reissue, until one comes here's my version.
[1981] The Expressos - Promises & Ties (2023 BLR Expanded Edition)
[2001] The Bang Gang - Vanity Kills (1991 Remastered Demos)
[2023] Postcards From Hanoi - The Johnny Burner YouTube Tapes
Compilation of Live Audio Rips from my good friend Johnny Burner's Youtube page. He graciously gave me permission to put this collection of his personal footage together to share with everyone. Just a little bit of trimming, some splitting of tracks, and I amplifyed a few to make it more cohesive sound wise and here you go. Thanks for the suggestion and the okay Johnny.

[1990] The Bang Gang - Love Sells
Dirty, Sloppy Glam at it's finest!
[1987] Johnny Thunders & Stiv Bators - Le New Moon ~ Paris, France (24 Mar. 1987)
Repost... got any just ask!

[2023] Jackie Leven - Highland Ghosts (Volumes 1 - 3)
Absolutely brilliant compilation put together by a friend. Perfect for Jackie fans old and new. Highly recommended!
[2023] Toto - Africa (BLR)
Some of you might have noticed a wee mistake on the previous Michael Monroe post. Somehow I attatched a copy of Toto's Africa onto the MP3 file. That's all fixed now. Anyhoo it's from this wee compilation I put together. Nothing but Africa! Not much of a Toto fan as they get a little too self indulgent for me. Still I just love the song Africa so here's how you should have gotten the track!
[2023] Michael Monroe - Shake Some Action (The Covers)
Had this requested and I'm happy to oblige. This compilation is in both Flac per the request and in MP3 as well. If you have any requests or suggestions just shoot me a message. This is something that would be awesome in an official Boxset, until then... enjoy!

[1982] Hanoi Rocks - Lyceum Ballroom ~ London, UK (31 Oct. 1982)
Had this requested. There's a new Bootleg of this available, "See Cover Below" on the Strangelove Records Bootleg label in Japan. This contains a copy of the show in the original flac, an mp3 conversion and my new mix.
