[2024] Heartworms - Chasing Birds (2CD)(BLR)
Heartworms debut album comes out in Feruary next year I believe. Jojo has been gigging with various line-ups for the last couple of years an has released an EP and a handful of singles. This collects all her releases plus Sessions and Live tracks. The band is slowly getting a following and I hope they'll break through and become massive. One of my happy "accidentally stumbled upon..." artists of the year. If you like a little Dark/Synthwavy/Post Punky/Goth kind of in the mixed vein of PJ Harvey meets Joy Division meets Depeche Mode meets The Sisters Of Mercy meets... it's really hard to label, but it's all fecking awesome. Highly recommended!!!
